Bill Peck lives and paints in Kent, Ohio. His work follows two distinct paths, realistic landscape paintings and tightly controlled colored pencil drawings on plaster-like surfaces which are often three-dimensional. For Bill, neither path takes dominance but each contributes to the development of the other. Color, surface variation, illusion and texture keep the work exciting.
A retired art teacher from Parma Senior High School for 32 years, he continues to be involved in art education and art production. Bill is a member of Group Ten Gallery, an artist cooperative in Kent, Ohio, and currently serves as a docent at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Bill’s work has been included in numerous juried exhibitions including Summit Art Space, Kent Downtown Gallery, and Lakeland Community College.
